Maria Revyakina

General Director of the National Theater Award and Festival "Golden Mask"

Maria is General Director of the Russian National Theater Award "Golden Mask" since 2004. The "Golden Mask" is awarded to theater performances of all genres: drama, opera, ballet, modern dance, musical comedy and musical, and puppet theater. "Golden Mask" theater festival presents the most significant performances from Russian cities in Moscow every spring.

Maria served as director of The Theater of Nations from 2012 to 2023.

Maria was awarded the title “Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation”. She is a Laureate of the State Prize of the Russian Federation and a Laureate of the Government of the Russian Federation Prize in culture.

She graduated from Novosibirsk Electrotechnical University and Russian Institute of Theater Arts.
